Introduction to Wonder Woman: Home

Learn about Wonder Woman's origins, character, and history!

So you want to get into DC's Wonder Woman? It's very difficult to get into comics in the first place, so props on you for taking the first step! "Overwhelming" would be the best word to describe the comics industry, how does know when and where to start? Look no further! I'll be introducing her history and making my own personal recommendations on where to start while using multiple websites' suggestions to back me up. There are plenty of comics out there that are purposely created to ease new fans into the series, so don't worry!

You can start anywhere you'd like, using the tabs to guide yourself along. Welcome to my own Themyscira!

Meet the Librarian

I am in my first quarter at Drexel, working to complete my Master's in Library & Information Science. I plan to work in the children's room at public libraries for the foreseeable future.

As for my completely inaccurate profile picture, that is Nightwing (Dick Grayson) from Prelude to the Wedding: Nightwing vs. Hush #1. Shockingly, Wonder Woman isn't actually my favorite hero, it's Nightwing.

Regarding my interest in comics, I didn't really get into them until 2016! Sure, I read Calvin and Hobbes from a young age, but I didn't really get into superhero comics until well into college. I swear I haven't been obsessed with Wonder Woman since I was 4! I want to show kids & adults alike how awesome comics can be.

I dedicate this to all the Wonder Women out there, especially my mom and my friends! Thanks so much, Tatiana for making the amazing banner! <3
I just want to help introduce anyone to Wonder Woman comics in particular. I've had so much fun making this guide, I'll probably end up working on others such as Batman, Superman, Robin, etc.

Have fun everyone!
