YA - Graphic Novels: Home

This is a guide to navigating young adult graphic novels.

GRAPHIC NOVELS

Introduction

This guide to comics, Manga and graphic novels will help you understand the medium.  I have also added some comic books to this section because many of the young adults associate books that are made primarily of illustrations to fall under the graphic novel section.  An often misunderstood medium and the bad boy of books; comics, Manga and graphic novels encompass much more than just superheroes or daily comic strips in the newspaper. They're often a much longer form that also fall under specific literary genres like memoir, humor, nonfiction, or historical fiction/nonfiction.
